This collection of instrumentals has been sitting in various forms, on various iPods, iPhones and iPads, since 2010. It was the first that I felt was actually a legitimate collection, with a theme, and strong composition.

Since then, I've tweaked it, learned some new tricks, redid some tracks entirely, added an actual introduction, removed a lot of tracks that felt like repeats or fillers, and finally, learned what the hell mastering is.

As such, this is also my first fully mastered release! For me, that's a huge milestone.

9 of the tracks have lived in various forms since at least 2010, but "Waking Moments" was a track I completed only a month ago that seemed to solidify the last piece I was missing. And thus, I was done holding on to this collection.

Time to release it onto the world and see if people can relate to the feeling. And yes, it is absolutely based on my inability to get sleep and bouts of insomnia I suffered, between living through bouts of stress an moments of happiness.
